START DRAWING
Open the SKP, then Save As your own project. Keep raw edges and faces Untagged;
put tags on groups/components. Model units are architectural feet and inches.
Length snapping is off. No scaling or relocation is needed to start drawing.

Overview opens close to the parcel. Site plan is parallel projection with true
north up; it shows flat plan lines and just the first setback alternative.
Terrain shows bare ground, contours and slope. Use Tags to change visibility;
selecting a saved scene restores its saved tags. If you change the setback
scenario or hide a source for design, update your own scene to retain that choice.
Neighboring geometry is retained in the file. These scenes are parcel-focused,
not a geometric crop to the property boundary.

TERRAIN AND HOUSE PLACEMENT
Working terrain - edit this copy is one unlocked, continuous terrain group.
The two original ground groups remain locked, hidden reference copies. Show
only one terrain representation at a time to avoid coincident flickering.
Make new buildings as separate groups/components. Move a house to a chosen
site elevation; its local Z=0 is not automatically the site's ground level.
For a pad, use the working terrain copy with SketchUp's Sandbox Stamp, where
available, or edit its triangles. Keep the locked source groups unchanged.
The aerial surface is display geometry 0.3 ft below ground: never use it as grade.

PLAN LINES
Tags beginning PLAN contain horizontal copies of the lot, setback alternatives
and City building outlines, all at 640 ft NAVD88. This is an arbitrary
drawing plane, NOT a proposed pad or finished floor. Enter the relevant unlocked
PLAN group to copy or dimension its edges. X/Y match the draped reference lines.
Measure horizontal setbacks on these copies, not along a sloping ground curve.
Turn off the other PLAN setback before comparing a different alternative.
The appraisal lot line is a planning reference, not a surveyed legal boundary.

ELEVATIONS AND COORDINATES
All terrain and roof elevations are absolute; they have not been zeroed.
Horizontal: NAD83(2011) Texas Central State Plane (EPSG:6578), US survey feet.
Vertical: NAVD88 (GEOID18) elevations, US survey feet.
Easting = model X + 3.1128e+06 ftUS.
Northing = model Y + 1.00909e+07 ftUS.
Z = absolute elevation. Red axis = grid east; green = grid north; blue = up.
True north is 358.66704439 degrees clockwise
from green (equivalent to -1.33295561 degrees).
Coordinate numbers use 12 SketchUp inches per source survey foot (2 ppm nominal
unit difference). Match frame, vertical datum and units before combining a survey.
Native geolocation/imagery overlay integration has not been checked in SketchUp;
use the explicit coordinate formula above for survey/CAD registration.

RP1: model-derived ground point at X=231.000000, Y=227.000000,
Z=630.011207 ft NAVD88. It is marked on the optional Model reference point tag.
RP1 is NOT a surveyed benchmark, a field monument or a finished-floor elevation.
For a local design datum, record its offset separately; retain this absolute file.

SOURCES AND WHAT IS ESTIMATED
LiDAR acquisition: 2021-03-06. Terrain beneath roofs/dense trees includes the saved
USGS 2017 fill, blended with 2021 LiDAR; 18.1%
of this lot's terrain is estimated. Original source-specific ground tags remain.
Building footprints: City 2023; roof samples: 2021 flight. Aerial: City 2025.
Buildings are approximate context masses, not measured as-built architecture.
Their repaired walls join the sampled roof and a SYNTHETIC level underside,
chosen at the original lowest wall base. This is not a slab/foundation survey;
solid volume is not a quantity takeoff. Demolished and unmapped/inferred buildings
are off in every opening scene. Status still follows the saved source records.
1 inferred roof(s) include repaired gaps and small boundary adjustments.
These surfaces are approximate, like the other building context.

Contours offered by the scenes are 2 ft minor / 10 ft major, both on. The original
1/5 ft source contours remain available but hidden. Contours and terrain are
planning data from the saved sources; they do not replace a current survey.

FILES
The package includes this guide, the SKP and a verification summary. Essential
instructions also travel inside the SKP's description and Model guide tag.
Source geometry, point data and original exports are preserved separately.
Native SDK save/reopen and geometry checks are automated. An actual SketchUp
house-placement / Stamp / application save-reopen trial remains to be done.
